Thanks to the Phoenix Theater and Eric Cohen at the Arts Nest for providing us with a great space to host this event! Also, special thanks to: Steve Murray (sound engineer), Kristin Mastantuono (lighting), Adam Peterson (set design), Neil Schloner (photography), Sandy Gildersleeve (video), Randy Gildersleeve (video and audio recording), Mike and Steph Nordby (merch and door) and Jenny Crandall (host and guest transportation). Thanks as well to everyone who attended the event! You all helped to make it a memorable night for all of us!
Lolo’s Ghost put on a great show after the J. Briozo set and everyone had a great time dancing to their set. Thanks to James Loney and company for their support over the years for both Swallows and J. Briozo and for agreeing to do our release show.
We’d also like to thank Becca Marx at Rift Magazine, Dave Hoenack at Hymie’s Vintage Records, Mike and Terri Owens at Blackberry Way and Krista Vilinskis Brandon Day at Tinderbox Music for helping us promote the record and the show. There are many radio stations around the country playing songs from the album right now and we’d also like to thank them for taking the time to listen to the album and give our music some time on the airwaves.
Here are some great photos that Neil Schloner took to help us document the night:
